examples: GPT-6 Luna through the Copilot gateway with the whole profile v3 - #268
A second Copilot gateway example: GPT-6 Luna for everything, with the whole profile v3.
examples/copilot-api-gateway/srcmorph-luna.yaml
Every file, every package and the project go to gpt-6-luna through the GitHub Copilot API Gateway.
One rule per kind of source, each with its prompt and its exact fact counters: Java, SQL, shell, Perl, POM (priority 10) and XML. The fallback rule takes every other file; profile v3 has no counters for those.
Every rule uses onOversize: mapReduce with map-chunk and reduce-parts, the package and project rules too (their default, fail, would stop the run on a package whose summaries exceed the window). Any input larger than the window is read chunk by chunk and never sampled (MODEL-CARD finding 7: Luna names every planted middle name).
contextSize: 120000, as in the measured gateway run.
subtrees: "." without target/, so the root pom.xml is indexed too.
It starts with command: Plan; then All.
ExamplesConfigBindingTest
Pins that every rule, package and project included, routes to Luna and uses mapReduce, and that every rule except the fallback names a facts file of the profile.
Also pins that the map and reduce prompts resolve and that stream and the loopback baseUrl hold.
docs/copilot-api-gateway.md: points to the new file. It also showed maxOutputTokens: 2048 for the existing example, which has 4096.
Checked
With the srcmorph 1.4.0 jar (build-your-own-jar), Plan and Check pass on the language corpus, the card corpus and srcmorph-maven-plugin. Every phase was in order, nothing was sent and nothing was written.
ExamplesConfigBindingTest: 8/8 green. A wrong factsKey turns the new test red.
Spotless and REUSE are clean.
Not run: a real index run through the gateway.
The big-pom and huge-pom rules of the self-test and build-your-own-jar keep file-body-fallback. That is deliberate (profiles/README.md, TODO D3: no large POM measured), so it is unchanged here.
…le v3
srcmorph-luna.yaml next to the gateway's minimal example sends every file,
package and the project to gpt-6-luna: a rule per kind of source with its
prompt and exact fact counters (Java, SQL, shell, Perl, POM, XML; the
fallback rule has no counters in v3), onOversize mapReduce with the map and
reduce prompts, the window of the measured gateway run (120000), the whole
project without target/. Plan and Check pass on the srcmorph 1.4.0 jar.
ExamplesConfigBindingTest pins that every rule routes to Luna, every rule but
the fallback names a facts file of the profile, and the chunk prompts
resolve. The gateway guide showed maxOutputTokens 2048 for the example,
which has 4096.

The pull request adds a GPT-6 Luna configuration for the Copilot API Gateway example. It defines project, package, and source rules, updates the guide and changelog, and adds a test that checks the configuration and prompt references.

Adds package, project, and source-generation rules with mapReduce handling for oversized inputs. Documents both configurations and corrects the documented maxOutputTokens value to 4096. Tests model settings, rule routing, prompt references, and fact files.

Explanation
The title names the primary change: a new GPT-6 Luna example routed through the Copilot API Gateway, using the whole project profile v3. The changeset adds srcmorph-luna.yaml, a Luna routing test, and docs for that example, so the title matches the main change. It also covers the profile scope. It does not mention the maxOutputTokens correction in the docs, which is a minor secondary change.

Without onOversize the package and project rules took the default, fail: a
package whose file summaries do not fit the window stopped the run. Both now
read their input chunk by chunk like the file rules, so no input of the
example is sampled or failed for its size. ExamplesConfigBindingTest checks
the strategy on every rule; Check passes on the srcmorph 1.4.0 jar.

…f-test extension
The whole-project walk (subtrees ".") read .git/, .idea/, node_modules/ and the agent worktrees
below .claude/, a second copy of the sources. It now excludes them next to target/, and takes
.zsh, .bats, .t, .cgi, .psgi, .wsdl and .xhtml like the self-test profile. The gateway docs name
the Luna file in the run command and its command: All, which the file reaches after Plan.

Unverified finding
Verification ran but could not confirm this finding. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.
Route generic CGI files to the fallback.
A .cgi file can contain Python or shell code. This rule sends it to the Perl prompt and applies Perl fact counters, so its summary uses the wrong language. Remove .cgi from this condition while keeping it in fileExtensions, or route it by language. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

- Line 96: Update the quota description near “request per chunk” to include the
additional reduce request required to combine partial summaries for oversized

request.

Describe the extension limit.
The configuration indexes only the extensions in fileExtensions. For example, .js and .ts files are omitted rather than sent to the fallback. State this limit here so users do not assume the project index covers those files. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Include reduce requests in the quota description.
An oversized input needs a request for each chunk and at least one additional request to combine multiple partial summaries. The current wording can cause users to underestimate their Copilot quota usage. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
