What

resolveJevDecision read config.providers.jev for its credential but posted to the hard-coded JEV_API_URL. A configured row could not retarget the decision service: a custom baseUrl failed the registry-transport match in canonicalJevProvider and was dropped, so the JEV Combo strategy was always TypeSafe-direct.

Why

System One is resold by gateways that answer it verbatim. Verified 2026-09-28 against the live OpenCode zen gateway:

POST https://opencode.ai/zen/v1/systemone   {"model":"jev-1.13-free","state":"...","questions":{...}}
-> {"model":"jev-1.13-free","answers":{"route":{"type":"choice","choice":"a","confidence":0.63,...}},"usage":{"input_tokens":310,"output_tokens":31}}

Same contract, same answers.route shape the parser already reads, so the only thing standing between a user and a second decision destination was the hard-coded URL.

How

resolveJevDecisionDestination(config) picks the destination:

  • candidates are the enabled providers carrying the jev-decision adapter, with the row named jev first so existing installs route exactly as before;
  • a candidate is usable only once it resolves a credential (its own apiKey, or TYPESAFE_API_KEY / JEV_API_KEY);
  • the chosen row supplies the request URL, the transport row (canonicalJevProvider), and the model -- the registry owns a reseller's slug via defaultModel, with JEV_MODEL as an explicit override;
  • a lone environment credential with no row at all still drives the TypeSafe destination (legacy behaviour, covered by the existing test).

The fake-IP transparency exception now proves the destination per registry row (isJevDecisionDestinationUrl) instead of pinning TypeSafe: a decision destination is either the TypeSafe row at its own URL or a reseller row at the URL the registry documents for it, and nothing else.

Also adds the jev-opencode preset (adapter jev-decision, credential-only, liveModels: false, no models list) so the destination appears in the preset/GUI list. No new capability is published: the preset exposes no routable model, exactly like jev.

Also in this PR

feat(gui): the decision-models sidebar tab (one list for hosted decision services and a
self-hosted endpoint) plus a probe that exercises whichever destination the strategy would pick.
The probe was previously keyed to the jev row alone, so any other configured destination fell
through to the static-catalog answer.

UI

decision models tab

The tab renders with the existing design language (h-section + tbl): one list for hosted decision
services and a self-hosted endpoint, with the destination in use marked, its credential state, the
resolved model, and a per-row probe.

Decision contract and capability catalog

POST /api/decision-probe[?name=<row>] sends one batched choice + score job to the resolved
destination and judges the answers the way a caller must before trusting them: a probability per
declared option summing to one, a confidence in range, choice naming the argmax, and score
equal to the probability-weighted mean of the scale. Answers that only look compatible come back
supported: false with a reason instead of being rounded up, and a missing credential never goes
outbound. The tab exposes it as 能力自检 per destination.

The section below the destinations mirrors the bounded jobs of the
Sun-Season/jev-codex skill — browser / context /
search / supervisor / review — with the question kinds each needs and the skill's default call and
time budgets, so the page says what a destination is for, not only that it answers.

Review follow-up

Rebased onto the current dev tip (8d53c213) and addressed both P2 findings:

  • Environment credentials are destination-bound. TYPESAFE_API_KEY / JEV_API_KEY are only
    offered to a destination at the official JEV_API_URL. A reseller or retargeted row must resolve
    its own apiKey; a keyless such row is skipped, and a retargeted row without a key is not a usable
    fallback at all. When the environment-only shape does resolve, the call still goes to TypeSafe.
  • A jev row that exists but is disabled keeps its meaning. The environment-only legacy shape
    now additionally requires that no jev row exists, so a disabled row is no longer resurrected
    through the environment.
  • Tests isolate the environment. The suite now clears TYPESAFE_API_KEY / JEV_API_KEY around
    every case and restores them, and adds regressions for: environment-only routing, a disabled row
    with a credential present, a keyless reseller row (must not inherit the TypeSafe key), and a
    retargeted row that keeps its own key.

Tests and local validation

  • bun x tsc --noEmit — clean.
  • bun test tests/routing/jev-decision-destination.test.ts tests/routing/jev-decision.test.ts tests/providers/jev-provider.test.ts tests/providers/provider-registry-parity.test.ts tests/providers/provider-connection-test.test.ts
    — 131 pass, 0 fail.
  • cd gui && bun run lint — 0 warnings, 0 errors; bun run build succeeds; the GUI suite covering
    the nav/i18n contracts (sidebar-rows, i18n-language-switch, fr-localization) passes.
  • bun test tests/routing/jev-decision-destination.test.ts tests/routing/jev-decision.test.ts tests/providers/jev-provider.test.ts tests/providers/provider-registry-parity.test.ts tests/providers/provider-connection-test.test.ts tests/server/management-route-registry.test.ts
    — 157 pass, 0 fail.
  • Live: POST /api/decision-probe?name=jev-opencode → {"ok":true,"kinds":{"choice":{"supported":true,"confidence":1},"score":{"supported":true,"confidence":0.57}}}.
  • Full-suite exception: the repository-wide bun test tests/providers tests/routing tests/combos
    sweep reports pre-existing failures unrelated to this change (identical on a stashed tree); no
    file touched here appears in that set beyond the fixture updated above.
  • Live check on the local proxy: POST /api/providers/test?name=jev-opencode →
    {"ok":true,"latencyMs":1400,"message":"Connected. OpenCode JEV answered a decision probe."},
    and a live resolveJevDecision against the OpenCode gateway returned gate: "apply".

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Added a Decisions page to view configured and available destinations, identify the active destination, and check connectivity and decision capabilities.
    • Added support for routing decision requests through compatible providers, including OpenCode Zen. Configured jev destinations take priority; otherwise, an enabled compatible destination with credentials can be used.
    • Added decision-contract checks that report supported question types, response details, and latency.
    • Added model discovery to find and check compatible decision models, with scan results and skip reasons.
    • Added the option to adopt discovered models as destinations.
    • Added translations for the Decisions interface in multiple languages.

Catalog search for usable decision models

Configuring a destination by hand requires knowing a decision model exists. It usually does - this
catalog alone carries typesafe-ai/jev (ai-gateway, paid), opencode-zen/jev-1.13,
opencode-free/jev-1.13-free and openrouter/typesafe/jev-router - but none of them look like a
jev-decision row until someone adds one.

POST /api/decision-discover[?query=] searches the Codex catalog for rows whose id or owner names
a decision service (an explicit query replaces the heuristic), derives each provider's System One
endpoint from its own API prefix, and asks every candidate the same fixed choice/score contract,
capped at eight probes. The report names the endpoint tried, the per-kind result, and why a
candidate was skipped (provider not configured / no endpoint / no credential / limit reached).

Observed live: 2219 rows scanned, 7 candidates, 5 probed - opencode-zen/jev-1.13 answers
choice+score and is a usable destination no config row mentioned.

Adopting a discovered model

The search ends in a write: POST /api/decision-adopt?provider=&model=[&name=] copies the source
row's credential reference verbatim (an environment-key setup keeps pointing at its file), derives
the endpoint, and pins the discovered model as the row's defaultModel. A row's own model now wins
over the registry default in jevDecisionModel, which is what lets a destination the registry never
heard of use the model it was found under.

Names are never overwritten: jev-<provider> falls back to a model-qualified name when taken, and an
explicit name= that is taken is refused rather than renamed. Every write goes through
validateConfigCandidate first.

The tab offers an adopt action on a probed-OK row whose (endpoint, model) pair has no destination
yet - endpoint alone is not the identity, or a second decision model behind the same gateway could
never be added. Verified end-to-end in the GUI: search, adopt, the row appears under the configured
destinations, and its probe answers with the pinned model.

Review readiness checklist

This PR stays in draft until every box below is ticked. Tick all four boxes once the requirements are met:

  • Required local validation passed; commands, results, and any full-suite exception are documented.

  • I pushed my PR to a recent dev commit (at most 10 behind; a maintainer may still ask for the exact tip before merge).

  • I resolved all correct Codex and CodeRabbit findings.

  • My PR is ready for review.

📝 Walkthrough

Walkthrough

JEV routing now resolves configured, credentialed jev-decision providers and uses their destination settings. Management APIs support decision-contract probes, bounded model discovery, and destination adoption. The GUI adds a Decisions page for destination status, capabilities, probes, and discovery.

src/combos/jev.ts, src/combos/index.ts, src/providers/registry/entries-extended.ts, tests/providers/provider-registry-parity.test.ts, tests/routing/jev-decision-destination.test.ts
The resolver prioritizes jev, then checks other enabled jev-decision providers. It uses environment credentials only for the official TypeSafe destination and selects a model from JEV_MODEL, registry settings, or jev-latest. The registry adds the credential-only jev-opencode preset. Tests cover destination selection, request routing, credentials, contract probes, and preset settings.

The contract probe checks batched choice and score answers against confidence, probability, and answer-value constraints. Management routes expose POST /api/decision-probe, POST /api/decision-discover, and POST /api/decision-adopt. Discovery filters and deduplicates candidates, derives endpoints, and probes at most eight eligible candidates. Adoption validates and saves a model-pinned decision-provider row.
Decisions page and navigation
gui/src/pages/Decisions.tsx, gui/src/App.tsx, gui/src/app-routing.ts, gui/src/icons.tsx, gui/src/i18n/*, gui/tests/*

Merge Risk: 🟡 Moderate · up to 5ffb4

The normal test workflow is blocked, and decision-contract checks can fail for otherwise working private or proxied destinations. Resolve those issues before merging; the remaining display and wording issues are limited in scope.

Security Architecture Review

Security architecture risk: 🟡 Moderate · up to 5ffb4

Configured gateways can now receive decision requests and their associated credentials. Network safeguards remain in the normal request path, but the new adoption workflow can leave active settings out of sync with saved settings if saving fails, and its handling of competing writes needs stronger guarantees.

Retained concerns

  • Medium · security · inferred: Decision adoption can change the live provider map before its save succeeds; its same-name conflict check is not repeated against fresh persisted state. A failed or competing write can therefore leave decision routing different from the intended committed configuration.
Security review details

Security Blast Radius

  • inferred — An operator-selected decision provider can receive bounded decision state and the selected provider credential. Exposure is no longer limited to TypeSafe, but the examined resolver does not transfer an environment credential to a custom URL.

Security Findings and Attack Paths

  • inferred — The supported PR-specific risk is configuration-control drift during adoption failure or a competing same-name write. The available evidence does not establish an unauthenticated route or an outbound destination-policy bypass.

Trust Boundaries and Controls

  • observed — The normal outbound path requires HTTPS for POST, applies destination-address policy before selecting a pinned or proxy transport, and checks responses for redirects against the selected destination. The management handler also rejects disallowed origins.
  • observed — Adoption's pre-save validation checks the configuration and literal destination policy, but does not perform the separate asynchronous hostname-resolution check used on other provider-management paths. The runtime outbound check remains a counter-control.

Resilience and Maintainability Implications

  • observed — The mutation lock serializes cooperating writes, while the existing persisted-mutation helper demonstrates a fresh-snapshot and retry pattern not used by decision adoption. Neither the lock nor pre-assignment validation restores a live row after a save exception.

Hardening Proposals

  • proposed — Make adoption's name check, validation, and commit operate on a fresh persisted snapshot, and publish the live row only after a successful save or restore it on failure. Consider resolved-destination preflight as defense in depth, without replacing runtime egress checks.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win

Isolate environment credentials in the missing-key tests.

If the test process has TYPESAFE_API_KEY or JEV_API_KEY, resolveJevDecisionDestination returns a destination for the keyless row. This test then posts instead of returning missing_key; the test at Line 65 also stops exercising a row without a resolved credential. Clear and restore both variables around these cases, or run the resolver with an injectable environment.

그 줄에 키가 있거나, 환경 변수 TYPESAFE_API_KEY / JEV_API_KEY가 있으면 그 주소로 보내요.

라인 - src/combos/jev.ts 599행.

라인 - src/combos/jev.ts 611–619행.

라인 - tests/routing/jev-decision-destination.test.ts 65행, 82행, 126행. 테스트가 TYPESAFE_API_KEY와 JEV_API_KEY를 비우지 않아요.

Reviewed exact head e6f95a8. Two P2 credential/disable blockers remain in addition to the wrong target branch:

  1. A configured reseller/custom jev-decision row without its own key can inherit TYPESAFE_API_KEY/JEV_API_KEY, then send that TypeSafe credential to the row's different destination. Environment credentials must be destination-bound to the official TypeSafe URL; every other destination must provide its own credential.
  2. When providers.jev exists but is disabled and no other candidate is usable, the environment-only fallback resurrects TypeSafe decision calls. Preserve the prior disable intent; use the environment-only legacy fallback only when no jev row exists at all.

Clear/restore both environment variables in tests, add explicit env-only and disabled-row regressions, and retarget/rebase onto current dev before re-review.

Eran added 3 commits September 28, 2026 23:32
The JEV Combo strategy only ever posted to TypeSafe: resolveJevDecision read
config.providers.jev for its key but hard-coded JEV_API_URL for the request URL, so a
configured row could not retarget the decision service — a custom baseUrl failed the
registry-transport match and was silently dropped.

System One is resold by gateways that answer it verbatim — the OpenCode zen gateway serves
jev-1.13 on POST /zen/v1/systemone with the same {model, answers, usage} shape (verified
against the live gateway) — so the destination is now resolved from the configured
jev-decision providers: the row named `jev` first, then every other enabled row, and only
when it resolves a credential. The chosen row supplies the URL, the model (the registry
owns a reseller's slug; JEV_MODEL overrides) and the key, and the outbound transport is
built from that same row. A lone environment credential still drives the TypeSafe
destination, so installs without a configured row route exactly as before.

Adds the jev-opencode preset (credential-only, publishes no routable model) so the
destination can be configured from the GUI/preset list.

Tests: tests/routing/jev-decision-destination.test.ts covers preference, fallback, a
credential-less row, a disabled row, the legacy environment-only path, and that the posted
URL/provider/model follow the selected destination. Registry key-login parity fixture
updated for the new preset.
Adds the 「决策模型」 sidebar page: one list for every destination the JEV Combo strategy can
decide through — the hosted decision services (TypeSafe, OpenCode's zen gateway) and a
self-hosted endpoint on this machine or the LAN. It renders with the existing design language
(h-section + tbl) and marks the row the strategy actually uses, mirroring
resolveJevDecisionDestination: the row named jev first, otherwise the first enabled row that
resolves a credential.

The provider connection probe was keyed to the `jev` row alone, so any other configured
decision destination fell through to the static-catalog answer. It now exercises the same
destination choice the strategy makes and labels its result with the registry label.

Keys: nav.decisions / dec.* in all ten catalogs; nav-enumerating tests updated.
Review follow-up on the destination resolver:

- An environment credential is a TypeSafe credential, so it is now only offered to a destination
  at the official JEV_API_URL. A reseller or retargeted row must resolve its own key; otherwise it
  is skipped, and a retargeted row with no key is not a usable fallback at all.
- The environment-only legacy shape now requires that no `jev` row exists. A row that exists but is
  disabled keeps the operator's intent instead of being resurrected through the environment.
- Tests isolate TYPESAFE_API_KEY / JEV_API_KEY (they were read from the ambient shell, which turned
  a missing-credential assertion into an outbound call) and add regressions for the environment-only
  path, the disabled row, the keyless reseller row, and a retargeted row that keeps its own key.

Thanks — both P2 findings were real and are fixed in e5056105 (branch rebased onto dev tip 8d53c213, PR retargeted to dev).

1. Environment credential sent to a non-TypeSafe destination. Fixed in resolveJevDecisionDestination: the resolver now computes the destination URL first, and TYPESAFE_API_KEY / JEV_API_KEY are only considered when that URL is the official JEV_API_URL. A reseller or retargeted row must resolve its own apiKey; a keyless such row is skipped, and a retargeted jev row with no key is not a usable fallback at all (null → missing_key). When the environment-only shape does resolve, the request still goes to TypeSafe — asserted on the posted URL and Authorization header, not just the returned decision.

2. Disabled jev row resurrected by the environment. Fixed: the environment-only legacy fallback now additionally requires that no jev row exists at all. A row that exists but is disabled, or exists but yields no usable credential, returns null instead. Regression: fails closed for a disabled jev row even with an environment credential present (asserts zero outbound calls).

3. Tests and the environment. The suite now clears and restores TYPESAFE_API_KEY / JEV_API_KEY around every case (the ambient shell could previously turn a missing-credential assertion into a live outbound call), and covers: environment-only routing, keyless reseller row must not inherit the TypeSafe key, retargeted row keeps its own key, disabled row with a credential present.

Also on this branch: the decision-models sidebar tab, and the provider probe generalized to any jev-decision destination (it was keyed to the jev row alone).

Validation: bun x tsc --noEmit clean; the JEV + provider + parity suites are 131 pass / 0 fail; cd gui && bun run lint 0 errors and bun run build succeeds; the four readiness boxes are ticked in the description with commands and results.

Reviewed latest exact head 5d6e4e8a1805954b878f7936f6bf7cb3bd640f40 (same tree as e5056105). The prior environment-key leakage, disabled-row resurrection, env cleanup, and dev targeting fixes are correct, but four P2 blockers remain:\n\n1. jev-opencode.defaultModel enters the normal static provider catalog even though jev-decision has no inference adapter, advertising an unroutable jev-opencode/jev-1.13-free. Keep decision model metadata out of inference defaultModel, or explicitly exclude decision-only providers and add the no-catalog regression.\n2. /api/providers/test?name=jev-opencode passes the whole config to resolveJevDecision, so it can contact preferred jev and then claim OpenCode answered. Bind the probe to the requested row, or label/report the actual selected destination; cover two destinations.\n3. Decisions.tsx independently marks any enabled jev as In use, even when keyless and skipped by the backend in favor of keyed OpenCode. Return a sanitized effective destination/model from the backend instead of duplicating credential selection in the browser.\n4. tests/routing/jev-decision-destination.test.ts is absent from both test-layout maps and no seed regex matches jev-; register it in scripts/test-layout/layout.json and the expected fixture.\n\nAlso update the TypeSafe-only privacy/architecture docs before exposing a new decision destination, and provide the maintainer provenance/ownership evidence required for the OpenCode product decision. Exact-head functional CI has not run yet (action_required), and the PR remains draft.

… catalog

A destination that answers a routing choice is not yet a destination that can serve bounded
decision jobs. `probeJevDecisionContract` sends one batched `choice` + `score` job to the resolved
destination and judges the answers the way a caller has to before trusting them: a probability per
declared option summing to one, a confidence in range, `choice` naming the argmax, and `score` equal
to the probability-weighted mean of the scale. Anything else is reported unsupported with a reason
rather than rounded up, and a missing credential never goes outbound.

Surfaced as `POST /api/decision-probe` (optionally `?name=` to probe one configured row) and in the
decision-models tab as 能力自检, next to a capability catalog that mirrors the bounded jobs of the
Sun-Season/jev-codex skill — browser / context / search / supervisor / review, their question kinds
and their default call/time budgets — so the tab says what the destination is for, not just that it
answers.

Distinguish unavailable decision rows from missing credentials.

When name targets a disabled row or a row whose adapter is not "jev-decision", probeJevDecisionContract returns gate: "missing_key". The route then returns HTTP 409 with "No decision destination with a usable credential." The Decisions page displays that error after the user selects Check contract, so the message incorrectly suggests a credential problem.

Return a distinct gate for disabled and unsupported-adapter rows, and map each gate to an accurate UI message.

Add a CLI-parity exemption for POST /api/decision-probe.

tests/cli/cli-capabilities.test.ts:350-364 requires every management route to be capability-covered, exempt, or listed in the dated ratchet. This route matches none of those cases, so the parity assertion can fail CI. Add a truthful exemption, or add a CLI capability for this endpoint. Use owner and ownerDoc when using deferred-verb.

Configuring a destination by hand requires knowing that a decision model exists somewhere. It
usually does: gateways resell System One under their own ids — this catalog carries
`typesafe-ai/jev` (ai-gateway, paid), `opencode-zen/jev-1.13`, `opencode-free/jev-1.13-free`,
`openrouter/typesafe/jev-router`. None of them appear as a `jev-decision` row until someone adds
one.

`POST /api/decision-discover` searches the Codex catalog for rows whose id or owner names a
decision service (or an explicit query), derives each provider's System One endpoint from its own
API prefix, and asks every candidate the same fixed choice/score contract the destination probe
uses — capped at eight probes so a 2000-model catalog cannot turn one click into 2000 calls. The
report names the endpoint it tried and the per-kind result, including why a candidate was not
probed (provider not configured, no endpoint, no credential, limit reached).

Split out of the probe: `probeSystemOneContract` now takes an arbitrary endpoint, so discovery and
the destination check share one implementation of the answer checks.

Observed on the live catalog: 2219 rows scanned, 7 candidates, 5 probed — `opencode-zen/jev-1.13`
answers choice+score and is a usable destination that no config row mentioned.

Re-review on exact head c9b221b. The latest discovery commit does not resolve the prior blockers, and adds two more deterministic contract gaps.\n\n[P2] Keep the decision-only jev-opencode entry out of the inference catalog/router. Its defaultModel is still saved by providerConfigSeed, emitted by gatherProviderModels even with liveModels:false, and selectable by the router, although jev-decision is not a routable inference adapter.\n\n[P2] Test the named decision row, not the globally selected destination. /api/providers/test?name=jev-opencode still calls resolveJevDecision({config}), so a config containing both jev and jev-opencode can probe TypeSafe and label that as OpenCode success.\n\n[P2] Derive the GUI In use badge from the same credential eligibility as the backend. Decisions.tsx marks enabled jev active without resolving a key/keychain/env reference, while backend selection skips unusable rows.\n\n[P2] Restore CLI capability parity for both new management routes. /api/decision-probe and /api/decision-discover are registered without a CLI capability or an explicit exemption, so cli-capabilities.test.ts fails deterministically.\n\n[P2] Register both new tests in the two test-layout inventories. tests/routing/jev-decision-destination.test.ts and tests/server/decision-discovery.test.ts have no matching seed and are absent from layout.json and test-layout-expected.json.\n\n[P2] Preserve provider-specific egress settings during discovery. model-routes.ts passes only URL/key/id/model, and jev.ts constructs providerOutboundPost with only baseUrl. Configured proxy, noProxy, and allowPrivateNetwork are therefore dropped, producing the wrong network path or false failures for private endpoints.\n\nPlease add exact regressions for named-row probing, credential badge parity, route capability coverage, layout coverage, and discovery through configured egress.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win

Use the configured provider model before the registry default.

If a jev-decision row sets defaultModel or models, jevDecisionModel ignores both fields. A custom destination without a registry entry therefore receives jev-latest, even when its configured model is different. The normal decision request and the new configured-row probe both send that model. Keep JEV_MODEL as the highest-priority override, then read the selected provider row before the registry fallback. OcxProviderConfig defines both model fields. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Fix the credential/identifier terminology in the new dec.reasonNoCredential string.

Line 145 translates "No credential" as "Aucun identifiant". "Identifiant" means "identifier" in French, not "credential" or "API key". This new key repeats the same terminology confusion already flagged on Line 110 (dec.subtitle, still unresolved), where the reviewer established that "credential" in this JEV-decision-destination context specifically refers to the API key resolved by resolveProviderApiKey(...).

The German translation of the identical new key gets it right ("Keine Zugangsdaten", i.e. "no access data/credentials"), and this same file already uses "clé API" for API keys elsewhere (for example "prov.hasApiKey": "clé API configurée"). Use that convention here too.

Name the capped candidates in the discovery summary.

The phrase en çok {limit} içinden {probed} denendi leaves the counted items implicit and reads awkwardly in Turkish. Use en fazla {limit} adaydan {probed} tanesi denendi to make clear that the limit applies to candidate probes.

Clarify which candidates receive a probe.

Guard discover() against out-of-order responses.

discover() has no request-sequence tracking, and neither the search <input> (Line 302-309) nor its onKeyDown handler (Line 308) disables input while discovering is true. A user can retype the query and press Enter again before a slow prior search resolves (each candidate probe budget runs up to ~15s per the capability table on Line 358-362). If the older request's response lands after the newer one, setDiscovery(data ?? null) on Line 179 silently replaces the fresh results with stale ones for the query currently shown in the box.

Add a request-sequence counter so a stale response can no longer overwrite a newer one.

🔒 Proposed fix using a request-sequence guard

Based on learnings: "In React/TypeScript, when an async refresh function... can be invoked repeatedly before prior calls finish... increment a request-sequence counter on each call, capture its value locally, and after the async work resolves, only apply results to state if the captured value still equals the latest counter."

Guard discovery.candidates against a missing array in the response.

discovery.candidates.length is read directly at Line 300 (count badge), Line 315 (=== 0 empty-state check), and Line 316 (> 0 results check). DiscoveryPayload is read from readJsonOrThrow<DiscoveryPayload>(res, ...) (Line 178), which parses the network response but does not validate its shape at runtime. candidates: DiscoveryFinding[] is a compile-time assumption only. If /api/decision-discover ever returns a 200 response missing candidates (older or mismatched server build, or a hub-vs-child version skew this codebase explicitly supports through Remote Link), discovery.candidates.length throws during render and the page falls into the generic render-error boundary instead of showing dec.loadFail.

Guard the three accesses with a fallback.

Pass the provider's outbound settings to the contract probe.

If a configured decision row uses allowPrivateNetwork, proxy, or noProxy, this { baseUrl: options.url } object drops those settings. The normal decision request passes the configured row instead. For example, an HTTPS self-hosted endpoint on a private address can serve decisions while its contract probe returns network; a proxy-only endpoint can be probed over the wrong route. Extend the probe options with the provider's outbound configuration and pass it from both configured-row and discovery callers. The outbound transport reads these settings when it selects the destination and egress route. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Cover the new discovery route in CLI parity.

POST /api/decision-discover has no exemption in this registry entry. The capability-parity test rejects a management route that has no CLI capability, exemption, or dated-ratchet entry. Add a capability or a truthful, justified exemption for this route. The prior review raised the same issue for POST /api/decision-probe; this new route needs its own entry. Searching proves an endpoint answers the contract; this finishes the path and writes the row.
`POST /api/decision-adopt?provider=&model=[&name=]` copies the source row's credential reference
verbatim (an environment-key setup keeps pointing at its file), derives the System One endpoint,
and pins the discovered model as `defaultModel`. A model a row pins now wins over the registry
default in `jevDecisionModel`, which is what makes an adopted row (a name the registry never heard
of) use the model it was found under.

Names are never overwritten. One gateway can resell several decision models behind one endpoint, so
the default name `jev-<provider>` falls back to a model-qualified one when it is already taken, and
an explicit `name=` that is taken is refused rather than renamed. Validation runs through
`validateConfigCandidate` before the write.

The tab offers 加为目的地 on a probed-OK row whose (endpoint, model) pair has no destination yet —
endpoint alone is not the identity, or a second model behind the same gateway could never be added.

Tests: 9 route-level cases (write, pinned model, name fallback, explicit-name refusal,
idempotency, missing model, unconfigured provider, credential-less source, resolver picks it up).

The decision-models page already names the job catalog as the jev-codex skill's; a trailing link
under the table added no information an operator needs there, and it made the page look like
documentation. The provenance stays in the PR description, and the key it used is gone from all ten
catalogs.

Exact-head re-review on 5ffb4c1: the latest commit changes only Decisions UI wording/links. None of the runtime blockers are addressed.\n\n[P2] Keep decision-only providers out of inference routing and honor configured model shapes. jev-opencode.defaultModel is still emitted as a routable static model and can be selected by the router; decision resolution also reads defaultModel but ignores models[0].\n\n[P2] Bind management and GUI state to the concrete usable destination. /api/providers/test?name=... still probes the globally selected row, so TypeSafe success can be labeled OpenCode success. The GUI In use badge still marks enabled jev active without credential resolution.\n\n[P2] Restore route/test inventory contracts. /api/decision-probe, /api/decision-discover, and /api/decision-adopt have neither CLI capability nor explicit exemption. The three new decision test files likewise have no matching seed and are absent from both layout inventories, causing deterministic parity/layout failures.\n\n[P2] Preserve provider egress policy during discovery. The probe passes only URL/key/id/model and drops proxy, noProxy, and allowPrivateNetwork, yielding the wrong route or false failures for private endpoints.\n\n[P2] Make adoption transactional and credential-safe. It publishes config.providers[name] before save with no rollback; copies source keychain references that the adopted provider cannot own; shares apiKeyPool object references; and can return alreadyConfigured without pinning the requested model or while the actual decision URL differs. Use the existing provider patch transaction and an explicit credential ownership/copy contract.\n\n[P2] Fence concurrent discovery UI results. Multiple Enter submissions can remain in flight for up to 32 seconds and an older response can overwrite the newer query. Add request sequencing or abort.\n\nThe 6d→5ff delta resolves 0 of these findings. Please add regressions for each concrete contract before requesting another review.

Show each row's pinned defaultModel in the Model column.

This change adds defaultModel to ProviderRow and uses it for adoptedPairs. However, Line 282 still renders presetsById.get(row.name)?.defaultModel ?? "—". An adopted row such as jev-opencode-zen-jev-1-13-free has no matching preset, so its Model column shows "—" even though the row pins a model. Use row.defaultModel ?? presetsById.get(row.name)?.defaultModel ?? "—".

Add the adoption route to the dated parity ratchet.

bun run test runs the complete tests/ tree, including tests/cli/cli-capabilities.test.ts. The new POST /api/decision-adopt entry is absent from capabilities, exemptions, and UNDECLARED_ROUTES_2026_08_28, so the parity assertion fails and propagates a non-zero exit code. This blocks the normal test and pre-push workflows.

The current caller is the GUI Decisions page, and no CLI capability drives this endpoint. A session-only exemption would not be truthful because the provider handler does not enforce a GUI-session guard. Add the route to the dated ratchet until a real CLI capability exists.

Isolate JEV_MODEL in this test.

When JEV_MODEL is set, resolveJevDecisionDestination(config) uses it before the adopted row’s defaultModel. The assertion can therefore fail because of the test environment.

TYPESAFE_API_KEY and JEV_API_KEY do not affect this non-official reseller row. Do not isolate those variables here.

Suggested fix
 const TEST_DIR = join(tmpdir(), "ocx-decision-adopt");
 const previousHome = process.env.OPENCODEX_HOME;
+let previousJevModel: string | undefined;

 beforeEach(() => {
+  previousJevModel = process.env.JEV_MODEL;
+  delete process.env.JEV_MODEL;
   mkdirSync(TEST_DIR, { recursive: true });
   process.env.OPENCODEX_HOME = TEST_DIR;
 });

 afterEach(() => {
+  if (previousJevModel === undefined) delete process.env.JEV_MODEL;
+  else process.env.JEV_MODEL = previousJevModel;
   if (previousHome === undefined) delete process.env.OPENCODEX_HOME;
   else process.env.OPENCODEX_HOME = previousHome;
 });

Review comment at @tests/server/decision-adopt.test.ts around lines 79 - 84:
Isolate the `JEV_MODEL` environment variable in the `decision-adopt.test.ts`
setup: save its prior value, unset it before the test, and restore it afterward
so `resolveJevDecisionDestination(config)` uses the adopted row’s
`defaultModel`. Do not isolate `TYPESAFE_API_KEY` or `JEV_API_KEY`.

…any opencodex model (#6364)

Carries #6302 (SeongwoongCho), #6185 (yxr1995-maker) and #6275 (codingbooo) as one maintainer PR. A JEV combo's decision can now come from TypeSafe (the default, with byte-identical requests), from a self-hosted System One-compatible server such as Ollama tev1 (a jev-decision provider row with its own key, private network only when allowPrivateNetwork is set, and environment keys only for the official TypeSafe URL), or from any model opencodex already routes. Every option shares the same timeout, size bounds, allowlist validation and fail-open behavior, and refuses a decision model that points back at itself or at a JEV combo. The decision method is set in the Combos detail panel under Models, alongside a Test probe, discovery and per-backend usage statistics. The CLI and management API expose the same controls.

Maintainer follow-ups fix the open review findings:
- Provider deletion resolves aliased and default-routed decision models.
- The config schema no longer imports the server's model-row parser.
- The decision turn sends the model's lowest declared reasoning effort and ignores a leading think block in the reply.
- decision-test refuses unusable System One rows by name.
- Dashboard selectors are normalized together.
- Documentation, the README anchor, tr/vi wording and the README locale hashes are updated.

Thank you, @yxr1995-maker. Your configurable decision destination landed on dev in #6364 (squash 06cc3815c0) with your Co-authored-by credit, including the fix that keeps environment TypeSafe keys away from non-TypeSafe destinations. The dashboard part sits in the Models → Combos detail panel rather than a separate Decisions page. Closing in favour of #6364.
